Sochi 2014
Bobsleigh Canada Skeleton (BCS) watched in awe at the performances achieved by the Dutch team in the run-up to the 2010 Olympic Games. The coach, Tom de la Hunty, switched from the Dutch team to the Canadian team and Eurotech Sports was hired for four years to raise Team Canada’s performance up to a higher level. So an organisation from the Netherlands was coming to the aid of Bobsleigh Canada Skeleton – an unusual situation, but one that led to a great many successes!
In addition to Bobsleigh Canada Skeleton, we remained faithful to the Dutch National Bobsleigh & Skeleton Federation (BSBN) and we committed ourselves to the Korea Bobsleigh Skeleton Federation.

Our innovation and products
The Hammerhead Shark, subsequently honed by Eurotech, was the fastest sleigh in the world from 2011 to 2014. For the first time in history, the German ‘Bob and Sled Association (BSD) didn’t achieve any medals at the Games. That was attributable to the efforts of Eurotech, among others. Germany’s FES sleigh was beaten.

Summary
A Gold medal with a Dutch bobsleigh: who would ever have thought that possible? Canada’s 2-man Bobsleigh – with Kaillie Humphries as its pilot – dominated its class from 2011 to 2014 and, at its highpoint, achieved an Olympic Gold medal. What’s more, Esmé Kamphuis and Judith Vis achieved a fantastic fourth place – the highest position ever achieved by a bobsleigh competing on behalf of the Netherlands.
